And today's weather is...partly sunny.
And I'm ready!
On Sunday, I reached into my purse to grab my sunglasses, and this is what I found. How funny is that? Thankfully I was able to repair them. I just popped the other lens in, but it was such a blog moment, I thought. We have to be able to laugh at ourselves, don't we?

Too funny. I had to laugh too. It's the new style.
That is so funny. Isn't that life with kids! I love your blog and finally decided to comment. I graduated from High School with Shaun. Tell him that I don't think that you mention that you like in England too much.
I loved the post with Shaun's parents they have not changed a bit! Glad you could fix your sunglasses. Have a great day. Julie
Julie,
Thanks for writing. I'll have to ask Shawn about you. Are you good friends with Pam? That's how I got hooked on blogging. When are you going to give it a try?
I hope to hear from you again. Take care and blessings to you.
Carol
That is funny! Glad to hear you were able to fix them.
Oh, I know how you feel... =)
that made me laugh this morning! too cute! yes, laughing at ourselves is what we must do!! laughing at you is fun too!! ;)
so did you manage to keep the super bowl winner a secret until you watched the game?!
I hate it when things like that happen, but at least you could pop it back in.
Oh I don't know. Think about it. You could be starting a whole new fashion trend! If you wear makeup you'd only have to put makeup on one eye that way.
Hi-I just stumbled across your blog today. I'm an American living in the UK as well. We've been here almost 6 years and expect to repatriate in the next few months. My children are both in uni in the US so I'm figuring out the empty nest thing at the moment.
I just started blogging in January but wish I'd been keeping one from our early days in the UK. Better late than never I suppose.
Love the sunglasses!
Cheers, Joyce
Too funny! I have done this before too and it has taken me a few moments to realize that the reason I am not seeing right is b/c a lens is missing!
