Though we went to New Jersey for my uncle's funeral, we also had the opportunity to see family and friends and spend lots of time with them. We enjoyed some great east coast food and did a little shopping, too. There are things that I like that I can't find in the U.K. Things tend to be more expensive, too, so if I can get it while I'm home, I do!!
My Aunt Judy is holding up pretty well considering her great loss. It was a long hard road since my uncle had Alzheimers and a spine that had lots of stenosis that caused him great pain. We were glad to be able to be there.
I'll write again and post pictures. Have a very blessed Sunday.

Glad you are back and that your trip was filled with family and friends. That is good to hear that your aunt is holding up...must be tough though.
Glad you're back...I have missed peering into your daily life but I imagine that your trip will give us weeks of great fodder.
I know your trip was for sad reasons, but I am glad that you got to mix in some fun too.

Glad that you had safe travels and are back! You were missed! That is great that you were able to see lots of friends and family and still be there for you aunt during this hard time. My Nannie is going through that and it is so hard on everyond.
So glad you made it back safe and sound!! Looking forward to hearing about your trip, glad that you had joy amist the pain...
I'm so glad your trip went as well as it could. I'm sorry the trip was for sad reasons but hope the time with family was a blessing.
