You're Gonna Miss This... Moment

Austin loves to golf. He gets so excited every week when it's time for a lesson and just gets a huge grin on his face. He can hardly contain himself when something excites him. I love that about him. He puts all of his energy into that one thing. I think he'll always be this way, so that part I will not miss because it'll be there. It's part of the way God made him.

What I will miss is having him take golf lessons at the Lymm golf club where he is a junior member. I don't know if God has more of the same for him once we leave here. And even if it is in His plans, Austin will be older, he'll be more mature, and he might not have the same joy he has right now. Knowing him though, he probably will.

He's all dressed up and ready to go. This was just a few weeks ago. While Shawn was off at Christmas, he took Austin out to play a round of golf. He was his caddy. Very sweet.

Here is a series of photos taken with the "action" setting on to see the full swing.

He looks so cute in his golf clothes. My parents are huge golfers and Ryan does it occationally. The boys love to go to the putting green with grandpa! Looks like you have a future PGA player on your hands!

How wonderful that he has the chance to learn the game like that!

How cute! I have an Austin too--but he runs and plays basketball. I love watching the joy that our children put into their activities...sports, board games, church...just wish that it carried over into homework!!

Hugs,
Susan

Carol,

when creating a post, there is the button that says post options...click that and you can set your post to post whatever date and time you want it to. Very cool huh? when the kids are in bed I usually do all my posts and then I can just comment during the day inbetween activities. It really helps.
Hope this helps you.

What a lovely blog you have! My men aren't really into golfing, although my hubby has played it a time or two.

He should really be good when he gets older!

My 20 year old loves music and plays on the worship team at our church. My 15 year old loves basketball.
