~ Grading homeschool tests & quizzes
~ Trying to settle in and make this a home. Realistically, this will go on for months, but I would love for it to be done much sooner.
~ Enrolling my firstborn into high school. This is HUGE for us since he has been home educated for the past 7 years. I am trying to let go of some fears in letting him go. It's both scary and exciting.
~ Signing up for VBS
~ Thinking about having a garage sale which means more organizing & planning
~ Signing the kids up for basketball camp
~ Getting ready for an "end-of-the-school year" pool party for homeschoolers this Thursday. There will be at least 30 people here. So thankful that the weather is looking great for that day!
~ Helping my friend, Sarah, with her daughter's high school 'Open House' this coming Saturday. Our friends, Mike & Liz, are graciously hosting it. Our family had her party this past Sunday for close friends and family.
~ Lots of baseball games
~ I need a pedicure, but that can and will have to wait
~ Strawberry picking & batches of strawberry freezer jam
~ Making a meal for my friend, Jamie, that had her baby a couple of weeks ago. They are doing fabulously.
How about you, dear friends, what's keeping you busy?
Have a happy Tuesday!
(Update: After publishing this post, I received a phone call from a chiropractor that wants to meet with me for part-time work. More excitement and busyness to add to my schedule.)
Jeremial 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Wow...you are busy! Hoping it slows down a little so that you are able to enjoy your summer! Me...not busy at all unless you count all the coffee times and swim play dates!
Carol,
God is truly pouring out his blessings on you and I couldn't be more happier for all of you.
Trusting that summer goes well and it's not too hot and high school is a challenge but knowing you and how your kids are raised, he'll do great.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
I put James into high school as a freshmen after years of homeschooling! He did great & loved the sports!! :) obviously!! you should have seen his table up close, every piece of sport equipment he owns was on that table!! :) he did it all himself though!
Wow girl...writing it all out makes it a little overwhelming. I do that and then look at my list and think...How will I get it all done? But I always do. YOu will get it all done too and then you can take a huge sigh.
happy Tuesday.
Thank you so very much for your prayers and encouragement.
Blessings,
andrea
Wow! You are busy! I want some strawberry jam! :)
A great list that will no doubt lend itself to fun, memories, and maybe a need for a little nap here and there!
You are busy! I can relate! High school will be a big step, but he will carry with him everything you have taught him at home. He'll do great!
