Oh what a great picture, and what an amazing blessing to have been able to go there!! We think the US is old, and then to see that kind of stuff.. WOW!
I'm so glad you ordered Clara's book. I think you'll love it!! Have you been able to see her You Tube videos? She is adorable
I do hope you know I am just giving you a hard time! That is what we do in our family. :)
Love this picture of your gang. Doesn't it amaze you? Buildings that have been around since Jesus walked the earth? Here everything is so new. We have no concept and take very little pause to appreciate that there is so much more than our little world. Perhaps that is part of the reason us Americans are so self centered?
I’m so glad you stopped by. My name is Carol. I am a Jesus-adoring, husband-loving, blessed mama of 5, back-adjusting, scrapbooking, quilt-making, furniture painting, friend appreciating, blog writing, recipe making, dessert lovin’, Jersey born, Michigan-living kind of girl. I love going to church and serving alongside some of the best people I know. Traveling is one of my passions and I hope to do it more.
I started “Joy in the Journey” about 9 years ago when I lived in England. We moved back in 2010 and life has changed in a few ways; well, it got busier.
Join me as I share about life in our home, what it means to have 2 kids at Michigan State University and 3 in high school. We stay busy with the high schoolers in 3 different sports. Austin is a junior, Braaten is a freshman, Melanie is a junior in high school, and Grant and Cooper are freshman.

Lovely family photo. Was it really hot? We hiked up there in August one year and it was quite a walk in the summer heat. Definitely worth it though!
Thanks for the book info!
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT pic!!! Is it going to be the CHRISTmas card pic this year?!! It is just gorgeous.
You get to see some fantastic sites over there.
Have a Blessed and Beautiful day,

Oh Wow, what a great thing to enjoy together. But I bet living overseas has allowed you to show your children many wonderful things.
