I was trying to join Erica yesterday, and was having major trouble with this particular photo. I figured it out today, so I'm posting a day late.
I recently mentioned that I was a cheerleader in high school. My very best friend since the age of 10 is Annette, who is on the right. We both lived in the same apartment building, on the same floor, just 4 doors down. Talk about convenience! We would run down the hall to each others' home to hang out together.
We both loved cheerleading for football and basketball. Our high school football field was set in the middle of factory buildings, a park, and apartment buildings. Directly across the street from that field, right behind us in the picture, is where I grew up on 10th St.

I hope you enjoyed taking a walk down "Memory Lane" with me.
And if you have a "Memory Lane" post, head on over to Scottsville to join in on the fun!
