Psalm 143:10 NIV

Teach me to do Your will,

for You are my God;

May Your good Spirit

lead me on level ground.

I have decided to join Sandy, one of my new blog friends, in memorizing this scripture. I want to be obedient to God's Word, learn it, and live it!

How about you? Are you memorizing a particular verse or verses in the Bible. If so, won't you share? I love learning from other Christian women. God is so good to provide friendships where we can grow in Him. There is nothing like learning from Christ Himself and His Word, the Bible, but I appreciate when God puts others in our path to learn and grow together.

Have a blessed day, my friends.

Learn it...live it. They really do go hand in hand don't they? We can learn it, but if we don't LIVE it there is no life.

Beautifully written...thanks for sharing.

I've been doing the Living Proof Ministry memory verse challenge this year. The 1st and 15th of each month we choose a verse (everyone picks their own) and we post it on the LPM blog. Just the verse and our name...no chit chat or comments. The accountability has been wonderful for me and I'm hoping they continue this into next year. It hasn't been overwhelming and I've kept up with it so far- it has been a tremendous blessing.

This segment I'm memorizing Rev. 17:14...very timely given the current world climate.

Carol,

I need to do more of this. When I was younger in my walk, I was always doing this, however, now that I became a wife and mom, it seems like I barely have time to do anything.

Just excuses, I know I need to work on this even more since with the state our world is in, better to hide God's word in our heart and let it comfort us when we can't have access to our Bible.

The kids and I went through the ABC's of memorizing verses and need to start again. Great verse to hide in your heart.

Many of my medications make it very difficult for me to memorize new things, but many of those that I learned a very lont time ago are still with me. There is no better weapon against the Devil than having God's Word tucked in your heart. Thank you.

God Bless,
Mimmy
