"52 Weeks" has been a fun, year-long challenge hosted by Carin at "Forever in Blue Jeans." The challenge is for moms to get their picture taken and post about it since we are usually the ones to take the pictures.
Last weekend, we went to a town called Blackpool which is known for their illuminations a.k.a. lights plus a whole lot more. We joined our friends there perhaps a little too late in the day to do much, but we did see the lights. :-)
While we were there, we went to eat Chinese food. It just sounded really good at the time and there was only a 20 minute "wait". A different restaurant said we would have to wait 45 minutes and we decided to look elsewhere. We were quickly brought to a table, ordered our food, and then proceeded to wait not 20 minutes. Not 30 minutes. But a full 60 minutes for the food to arrive. It's a good thing that the food was fantabulous, or we would have been a tad bit upset.
We enjoyed our time with our friends even if we did have to wait.

Love both of those pictures. You have a beautiful family. The lights behind you are very cool.

These are such great pictures! Looks like such a neat place to go. Sorry you had to wait so long, that can get really tough on the kids.... and adults!
Carol,
WOW you would think for waiting that long it would be like Hell's Kitchen! Some of those people wait that long for their dishes to be served. Glad the food was worth the wait.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
