Charlie is our new addition!
We went to Indiana to my nephew Will's open house and came home with a puppy.
My brother-in-law, Tim, sure knows how to get rid of a litter of 8 puppies! It's as though the open house was for them because everyone couldn't keep their paws off of those pups. There was always someone holding them and people kept crowding around their pen.
My cousin, Jill, who is married to Tim, and Tim's my husband's brother, (Go figure that one out)*, had been praying that our family would take one.
He is just as cute as can be, but he sure has a ton of energy first thing in the morning.
If you have any puppy training tips, I'd love to hear them.
In the meantime, have a wonderful day.

How fun! It's crazy fun but still it's fun : ) Enjoy your new addition!
Awww, he's adorable, love the name. What breed is he?
Aww. Sooo cute!!
Our last adventure with a puppy went pretty well. We crated him during the night and on and off during the day.
Every time we took him out he went outside and we would say Go Potty.. we he did.. we would praise him..
To this day.. I can take him outside and say Go potty.. and he'll go...
Oh, and I did learn to NOT wait till he had an accident in the middle of the night.. I started getting up with him around 2 or 3 every night for awhile and that helped a lot!
He is so darling. I am sure he will fit in just right with your family. An open house... will keep that in mind should I ever need to find homes for pets.
Hugs,
Kat
oh my...; ) Charlie is such a cute name...he looks like he will get fairly big?
Congrats! According to my 12 yearold friend 'Syliva" who I love, she has a dog named "Tommy". She recommends good "potty skills".
